The Beatles - what was the big deal? I prefer The Hollies. My favorite of the British invasion groups are The Who. I got to see them live twice, but not with Keith Moon. Here's one of the pictures I got when they played the old JFK Stadium in Philadelphia in 1982. That was an awesome show - 4 bands for $15.75! I call that a bargain, the best I ever had!

Mary, total bargain. I still have the ticket stub somewhere for a festival I went to in Germany in 1981. For DM 30 (about $15 equivalent) I got to see BOC, Blackfoot, Motorhead, Iron Maiden, Kansas and Foreigner. I was such a skint student that I had to choose between beer or a t-shirt. It was a hot day in southern Germany and the beer won.

Wings were the band that The Beatles could have been if they'd tried a bit harder ?!?! I think that you win The Most Unpopular Opinion! Having said that, McCartney had better songs with Wings than he did on his own.

I was six or seven when the Beatles broke up. I remember being more into The Osmonds Crazy Horses album than anything The Beatles produced. To be fair, my views have changed with time and can safely say that The White Album is better than Crazy Horses.

Unpopular opinion....I have long preferred Zappa to The Beatles. Zappa is funnier.

Band on the Run is a HELL of a song, and Wings Over America is a kickass live album. I have it on vinyl. All three discs! I tell ya, THAT was a hell of a thrift store find. TWO DOLLARS!

Mine are The Kinks. Every single album of theirs between Face to Face and Muswell Hillbillies is just incredible.

I saw George Harrison on his Dark Horse tour at MSG but he had a sore throat, the pot sucked and he spent a half hour announcing the members of Ravi Shankars group.Baaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaa

Treaties and FOUO are overrated. I place neither in my top 5. Astronomy and Flaming Telepaths are not the best two songs on Treaties, Burnin’ For You doesn’t belong on FOUO, because it is way better than the rest of the album. Burnin’ For You should have been on Flat Out, but even without it, Flat Out is better than most BÖC records.
