Watched all three Reacher episodes yesterday and they were terrific.Don't know how they'll roll out the rest of the eps but hope they'll do them a few at a time like yesterday. Slow Horses is great Gary Oldman is a riot. Crime is very good except for the 2nd crazed detective whose accent makes him impossible to understand. Payback was very good and Bodyguard thru 2 eps is good too.I'm on a British crime show kick obviously. Just saw the first Reacher episode of the new season and it is 🔥

New movie idea: Reacher vs Godzilla. My money is on Reacher.
I wonder how many guys like that (more or less) are floating around for real? My guess is that there may be more than we'll ever know about.

One thing for sure NO ONE is built that big and cut like that naturally like Reacher is.

One thing for sure NO ONE is built that big and cut like that naturally like Reacher is. He's 6' 4". Started out at 205 lbs. So pretty big to start with, but 205 could be considered a little light for his height. Said he had to gain 30 pounds of muscle. Are you ready to do his workouts?

Of course my point is that in the books Reacher is built like that naturally.

I didn't have much time to look for his physical "specifications" - the only thing I found is that he is 6' 1". Same as me. Height by itself does NOT equate to physique and strength though.
I'm usually taller (or close to it) than most of the people in a room. My bosses boss that I interacted with sometimes is 6' 6". Not used to looking up that much - makes me nervous.

The new season of Reacher is incredible. I feel bad for the poor detective he keeps annoying tho lol 🤣 One of several things is bound to happen to the detective:
- Actually and honestly help Reacher
- Get promoted and take the credit for Reacher & Company's work
- Get killed by the bad guys
- Get killed by Reacher because he IS one of the bad guys
- Disappear
- Take off with Reacher's girlfriend (oh, that would mean one of the last two items before this)
Shows like this, and some of the others we've discussed here, remind me why I don't watch ANY major TV network show created in the last 5-10 years or so.

Recently watched The Fall , a series about a British serial killer and detectives pursuing him. It's an older series (2013), but a surprisingly good watch. What is interesting about it is that the pacing is much slower than the typical crime drama series, and the serial killer's identity is known right-off-the-bat, so it seems most of the show is devoted to character development and motivation, etc. Features Gillian Anderson as the lead detective.

Been awhile since I saw it, but it was an excellent show! Even my wife loved it. Sometimes moving slower can be good - and this show worked very well that way.
If you liked The Fall, you might take a look at "The Killing" and "Broadchurch" if they are available to you.

I saw the U.S. version of "The Killing" and liked it. I guess there is also a Danish version of the show. Will have to check-out Broadchurch.

Hated the US version of the Killing and stopped watching it - watch the original if you can - you'll get used to the subtitles after a while... However, the best Nordic Noir I've ever seen was "The Bridge" - it's probably the one people enjoyed the most, in my experience... My next favourite foreign import, though, was French: Spiral (Engrenages) - anybody who enjoyed The Shield or The Wire should check out Spiral - you won't be disappointed... Broadchurch? Spiral bends it over, pulls down its trousers and inserts a large boot where the sun don't shine... to erm.. coin a phrase...
